Zonta Festival Of Trees Raises $56K In Spearfish

The Zonta Club of Spearfish hosted its 27th annual Festival of Trees at the Spearfish Park Pavilion November 28th through December 1st. According to the Black Hills Pioneer, the event raised approximately $56,000 and collected about 2,000 pounds of food for the Spearfish Community Food Pantry.

Co-chair of the event, Pattie Parrett reports that all of the profits will go directly back into the Spearfish community through grants, scholarships, and clothing assistance managed by the Zonta Club. The four-day event includes a senior tea, Saturday with Santa in partnership with Pioneer Bank and the Friends of Grace Balloch Memorial Library, and the raffling of a trip to London.

The Zonta Club of Spearfish always welcomes new members and hosts a weekly membership social on Wednesdays. You can learn more about the group here.
