Rapid City Airport Flights Soar In Summer 2018

Summer 2018 saw a record number of passengers traveling through Rapid City Regional Airport, reports KOTA Territory News. With an eight percent increase over summer 2017, the airport is also on track to set a new annual passenger record in 2018.

Patrick Dame, Rapid City Regional Airport’s executive director, said that the increased use of the airport is critical to adding more services and non-stop flights. The airport is currently equipped to double to the number of annual passengers served and is prepared to upgrade infrastructure to accommodate future growth.
