Saturday night, crowds lined the snowy streets of downtown Rapid City, as a parade of floats rolled down East Boulevard and Main Street before turning up 7th Street and culminating on St. Joseph Street for this year’s Festival of Lights. According to KOTA Territory News, audience members young and old enjoyed the display.
Participants included floats decked out in holiday lights, displays on flatbed trucks, and horse-drawn carriages. Though the weather on Saturday was dreary and damp, that didn’t put a damper on this year’s parade.
