City of Deadwood Looks To Bring Comprehensive Plan Up To Date

City officials in Deadwood are gearing to update the city’s 10-year comprehensive plan, reports the Black Hills Pioneer. Two meetings will be held in order to obtain information from three different groups as part of the upgrading process. Deadwood’s comprehensive plan includes several aspects including city services, recreation, transportation, growth, economic development and others.

Meetings are currently scheduled for small business owners on October 17th from 3-4 pm. Deadwood residents will meet from 5:30-6:30 on October 17th and October 19th. City officials and staff will meet from 3-4pm on October 19th. All meetings are open to the public and will take place at The Lodge in Deadwood.
